Swiping a Card for New Schedules

All scheduled transactions are submitted as MOTO (card not present), even if they are initially entered by swiping a credit card. This is currently the case even if you swipe a card to enter a schedule that will process its first payment, or custom first payment, on the current day as soon as the schedule is saved.
NOTE: Track data from a credit card swipe is NEVER saved in the system for any reason.

Thus for scheduled payments (Recurring Billing Schedules, Payment Plan Schedules, or one-time payments entered for a future date) swiping a card is simply a short-cut for account entry. If the account is already saved with the Customer for which you are entering a schedule, there is no reason to swipe the card again-- simply select the saved card from the table.
